As The Washington Post reports, Deloitte recently announced a paid leave policy offering employees 16 weeks of fully paid family leave. The offer goes beyond new parents to any employee with caregiving responsibilities – be it to a child, a parent or a spouse. Deloitte is the latest in a series of large corporations to offer paid family leave.
“By adding support for eldercare, spousal care, and children beyond the birth stage, Deloitte’s family leave program provides our people with the time they need to focus on their families in important times of need,” Cathy Engelbert, CEO of Deloitte explained.
