Grants & program support

From shared support to lasting impact.

Bring your mission, your knowledge, and an idea worth developing. Together, we can explore how a genus-connected project could move from an opportunity to a program people can use and learn from.

Shared support

The support that shaped us

We’re grateful for the millions in grants and support that have helped genus become what it is today—and for the people and organizations who believed in the work. Now we want to help others turn promising ideas into programs that can be delivered, measured, improved, and repeated.

That support carries a responsibility to keep learning and to help others put useful ideas into practice. We’re open for conversations about projects that connect with the genus ecosystem, with the scope of support agreed individually around your mission, knowledge, and community.

Our priorities

The grants we want to support

These are the program priorities we would like to explore with partners. They describe our project interests; they are not a directory of currently available awards.

Caregiver and family support

Help families find useful information, build confidence, share responsibilities, and connect with support that fits everyday life.

Community connection and healthy aging

Create opportunities for participation, relationships, and meaningful activity, with community knowledge guiding how people are invited and supported.

Adult day and dementia support

Support person-centered day programs, family communication, staff learning, and experiences shaped around participants’ interests and needs.

Care transitions and service coordination

Make next steps clearer across settings, connect people with appropriate services, and help teams plan communication and follow-through.

Workforce learning and responsible AI adoption

Build practical learning and supervised AI pilots around approved knowledge, clear responsibilities, and evaluation with the people using them.

Program evaluation, replication, and expansion

Plan useful measures, document what teams learn, and explore how an approach could be adapted and supported in other settings.

How we help

From application to implementation

We can discuss support across the project, beginning wherever your team is today. Together, we agree on the work, responsibilities, resources, and decisions needed at each stage.

Our teams and AI agents can assist with research, organization, drafting, and documentation within the agreed scope. People review the work for accuracy and fit, and applicants approve submissions. Your organization’s knowledge and judgment guide the program.

  1. Assess the opportunity fit

Review the opportunity, eligibility requirements, community need, and connection to the genus ecosystem before deciding whether to proceed.

  2. Develop the program and proposal

Translate your knowledge into a clear program plan, intended outcomes, activities, and a proposal your team can review and refine.

  3. Plan budgets and responsibilities

Work through costs, timelines, partners, delivery roles, and reporting responsibilities, including what ongoing support could require.

  4. Implement funded work

Prepare the agreed configuration, resources, workflows, and training, with a practical plan for launch and day-to-day delivery.

  5. Evaluate and improve

Review agreed measures and participant and team feedback, document limitations, and use findings to decide what needs to change.

  6. Prepare for expansion

Capture the approach and its costs, assess what could transfer, and plan the adaptations and support another setting would need.

Measure & grow

Measure it. Learn from it. Build on it.

We want funded work to leave a useful foundation for what comes next. These are commitments to how we design a program; results are established through evaluation in the setting where it is delivered.

Measurable

Agree on starting conditions, success measures, and reporting before launch. Decide what information is needed, who will collect it, and how findings will be reviewed.

Repeatable

Document workflows, training, and implementation lessons so the team can explain how the program works and make informed improvements.

Scalable

Test the approach, consider adaptations across settings, and plan ongoing support and costs before expanding.

Let’s talk

Bring us your grant—or your idea

You may have an opportunity in mind, an early concept, or an existing program that needs implementation support. Tell us who you serve, what you hope to make possible, and where your team could use help.

We’re open for conversations about genus-connected projects. We’ll explore the fit together and agree individually on the support, responsibilities, and next steps.
